Comedian and actress Amy Schumer has revealed that she and her partner, cook Chris Fischer are divorcing following a seven-year union.
The Trainwreck star said in a social media post on this week, accompanied by a picture of the pair on a train, that they had made the "difficult decision" to part ways and will remain dedicated to parenting their young child.
"Peaceful, filled with love and mutual respect! Family forever," she said.
Both in their mid-forties, exchanged vows in early 2018 and welcomed their son the following year.
Light-Hearted Comments on Split
She humorously noted in the Instagram post that the split is unrelated to her shedding pounds and not on account of Fischer being a "acclaimed culinary expert who can still attract attention".
