LA Explodes in Celebration as Dodgers Claim Back-to-Back World Series Championship
The City of Angels experienced widespread celebrations after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area events included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos show countless of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy high.
“I’m already thinking about the third time we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an translator.
The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the players emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard spinning music and the artist driving a light blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.
